MarsKeel Technology, a Division of Mars Metal Company, has been creating solutions and supplying marine ballast for over 45 years to a wide range of vessels, including racing yachts, commercial boats, navy vessels, and autonomous watercraft.
MarsKeel provides tooling/mold design, lead casting, and select products in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. In addition, we offer full-service CNC machining and metal fabrication services.

Custom Cast Ballast
The ballast is cast to the requirements of the customer, naval architect, and shipyard. Our casting capacity is from as small as 20 lbs. to over 150,000 lbs. in a single pour.
Custom Designed and Manufactured Parts
Mars Metal offers customers the added ability to design, engineer, and manufacture fittings or internal weldments, used with or cast into the ballast, to facilitate the movement and installation of the ballast in the vessel. We provide full engineering, weld specifications, certified welders, and weld inspection to ensure the highest quality.
We also offer the ability to design and create ballast that maintains its position in the vessel.
